The inaugural Cross-Border Forum hosted by the New China International Economic and Trade Science and Technology Education Association took place in grand fashion at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre on the afternoon of October 8th. It drew the attention of elites and scholars from various fields. Notably, Audrey Zhang, the curator of Prestige Art Gallery, served as one of the key speakers and introduced the gallery along with its new initiatives in Sino-Singapore art exchanges.

Documentary The Bonds of Art: Reviving the ‘Golden Age’ of Art Exchanges Between Singapore and China”
During her presentation, Audrey Zhang played a trailer for a documentary titled The Bonds of Art as a milestone progress report. This initiative garnered unanimous appreciation and encouragement from the audience. The trailer employed oral history techniques and documentary narrative to interview several Singaporean artists and art researchers, reminiscing about the “golden age” of art exchanges between Singapore and China during the 1980s and 1990s. Presented from their first-hand experiences, it vividly narrated heartwarming stories of friendship between the two countries.
