Prestige Gallery, established in 2019 in Singapore, has partnered with private banks like OCBC and Bank of Singapore. It now inaugurates its new home at a pivotal location in the heart of Singapore’s cultural district.
The Gallery strives to honour and support the unique blend of the diverse tapestry of Asian multiculturalism, tirelessly discovering, showcasing, and spotlighting exceptional artists from Southeast Asia.
The Gallery’s vision extends beyond the traditional Chinese cultural framework, offering its audience and collectors an opportunity to become acquainted with the works of established masters and rising talents in the region. Rooted in an appreciation for contemporary ink painting— which has a continuous impact on the arts in Asia—this gallery space exhibits modern artistic explorations of established genres and cutting-edge new media art forms.
The Gallery values academic curation and art historical research, aiming to explore the impact of art on local culture and cross-cultural dialogue more deeply through the collection and display of archives, interviews with artists and critics, and the organisation of forums and seminars. This approach creates a distinct identity for Prestige Gallery, nurturing the ecosystem of artists, audiences, and collectors.
