Dai Yinglun
Dai Yinglun (b. 1987) is a contemporary Chinese painter, trained at the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts. Growing up in a small city shaped his perspective on human society. His work explores both collective social behavior and the inner complexity of individual consciousness, capturing the interplay of multiple layers of thought and identity.

Dai Yinglun (b. 1987) graduated from the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in Chinese Painting with a focus on Contemporary Chinese Painting and the study of pictorial language.
Growing up in a small city with rigid social structures, Dai’s work revolves around the human condition, encompassing two layers of meaning: first, an observation of human society, stemming from long-standing curiosity and perplexity, resulting in depictions of groups from individual perspectives; second, an exploration into the inner psyche of each person, examining the interplay and evolution of multiple layers of consciousness and thought within the individual.
