1971年生于中国，中国当代水墨画的重要代表人物，毕业于国立华侨大学艺术系中国画专业，结业于中央美术学院版画助教进修班。
曾键勇曾在中国，日本，美国，瑞士，意大利，澳大利亚等国家的不同城市举办个展和群展。近年来在拍卖市场上屡创佳绩。
他的绘画继承了中国传统山水的“三远”构图，将中国传统山水画的“三远”构图融入现代艺术中，通过叠加山峦、树木、岩石和水流的元素，构建出极具深度感的画面。曾健勇独创“从纸背到纸面”的绘画技法，并结合特制的云龙纸和色粉等媒介材料，呈现出独特的画面质感。他的画作以宋代绘画的传统气质为底蕴，带有一股温暖的朦胧感，再现江南的山水意境。无论是恢弘的山水场景，还是细腻的自然描绘，曾健勇的作品总能引发观者对传统与当代文化的深思。
